Kyle Baker is an American comic book artist. During the 1980s, he illustrated DC Comics revival of the pulp hero The Shadow, after Sienkiewicz's departure from the monthly series. A year later, it was abruptly canceled in mid-plot, allegedly due to objections by Condé Nast Publications, who own the publishing rights to the character.
