Synopsis[]
A man is driven insane by his wife who is drugging him with morphine. She wants him to believe that he's killing people when he sleeps. He doesn't remember anything and is convinced he has amnesia and should never sleep again. However, he finds out from The Shadow that his wife has hired two convicts to do the killings and she is trying to frame him in order to gain his fortune after he's committed. In revolt, he shoots his wife and is taken away.
