This is the first book-length study of The Shadow pulp series. Originally published in 1974, the book was updated with corrections and new material in 2007 by Altus Press.
The slim volume contains details of the great pulp character, along with his associates, villains, writers and a checklist of all the novels. Several pulp covers are reproduced. Further enhancing the book are a few illustrations by noted artist, Frank Hamilton.
