Professional History
Daisy Bacon was a writer and longtime Street & Smith editor. She edited the most successful romance pulp of all time -- Love Story. She was also the editor during the final year of Doc Savage and The Shadow Magazine.
After WWII, when pulp magazines began ceasing publication, Bacon devoted herself exclusively to her writing and authored several short stories and books, including the best-selling Love Story Writer, published in 1953.
