Charles Moran replaced longtime Street & Smith editor, John Nanovic on The Shadow Magazine. It was under Moran's editorship that the pulp shrank to digest size. His stint was very brief, only lasting for a handful of issues. He was replaced by The Shadow Comics' editor, William de Grouchy in the beginning of 1944.
